The Alliance for International Youth Development (AIYD) is a community of practice and an advocacy platform of leading international youth and community development organizations. The Alliance provides an opportunity for engaged organizations and individuals to share effective practices across all sectors of international youth development, and to inform programs and policies that support and affect youth. AIYD draws on its collective expertise to advocate for informed and targeted investments for young people globally.

In Partnership with INTERaction

To support and advance its mission, AIYD has developed a strategic partnership with InterAction, the largest alliance of U.S.-based international non-governmental organizations. InterAction and its more than 190 members work across the developing world, with a focus on improving conditions for the world’s most poor and vulnerable populations. InterAction’s partnership with AIYD underscores the importance of prioritizing youth.
